Quote of the Day

right now, less than a day to elections, lots of people are saying lots of crazy things, so it cant be hard to choose, but I think this one takes the cake

Someone said to me that he cannot vote in the elections of a country that is corrupt and commits a genoice....[I responded], what in the time of the Chazn Ish the country was not corrupt?? The State of Israel did not commit a genocide with the Yemenite children and make them not religious? The State was never properly functioning and still there is an obligation to vote...

-- Rav Sariel Rosenberg, Av Beis Din of Bnei Braq, at the Degel Hatorah election rally last night

Why would anyone be shocked? Remember the rabbis who said that the Nazis, y"sh, were better that the Zionists because there was gender segregation in the concentration camps?

If it was one of them, we could dismiss it. They're hateful nutbars. No, this was an official political statement:https://www.timesofisrael.com/at-utj-event-rabbi-says-even-nazis-understood-need-to-separate-men-and-women/
      Seriously guys, just google it.
Also it's not the first time. In the book Eyes To See by Rav Yom Tov Swarcz he tells the same story and it was from decades earlier.
