The rules of Tzniyus

If you were wondering how to tell if your blouse or skirt are kosher and tzniyusdik, you will be pleased to know that there are flyers and posters being passed around and hung up that describe exactly what the correct parameters are...

So, check out these flyers and compare them to your collars and hemlines...

  4. ed - why does that mean they are very old?

anyways, I gaurantee you they are not old, but whether they have been printed as a spoof or not, I do not know.

I suspect not, because on the bottom of the flyer it says they are in memory of people. I doubt they would do that as a spoof.

  6. by #4 it says "side pockets by the knees" - I guess maybe you would oput stuff in pockets and it would adjust the skirt in some way showing shapes of legs... maybe

#11 says skirt is long but shows shape of prohibited places"...

  8. I just asked someone and was told that it is "rechovi" - like cargo pants. Too "street like" and not becoming of a bas yisroel.

um........rav nissim Karelitz is not the chazon ish. He is in fact the chazon ish's nephew and is alive and well in Bnei Brak

  10. actually I just looked at the images closer and it does not say chazon ish anywhere. It says Rav Nissim Karelitz and Rav Shaul Klein, from the beis din of Rav Wosner.

  12. I don't understand why everyone is ignoring the obvious: it is clear that women need to shave their heads.

How could a true Bas Yisroel not understand this from the diagrams??

  13. you don't mean shave their heads. you mean cut their heads off...

  14. The charts are too complicated to follow - let's stick with burqas just to be on the safe side
