Please tell me this was Photoshopped.
No WAY!Either it's photoshopped or it's a practical joke.
I don't think it was photoshopped because someone else sent me a photo of it from a different angle! Linked to Facebook somehow
Why the surprise? Everyone knew his nose was circumcised.
B"HNo way. Where did you see this? Or is just photoshopped?
ppl, it ain't that hard to make up such a sign yourself, and put some background behind it
Just funny. Kul hakavod to the guy who made the sign printed it on a laser printer and taped it to a tree in Israel. What it really shows is that we need to add a "J" letter to the Hebrew alphabet. Perhaps a backward Gimmel.
the J letter is commonly made in modern Hebrew by a gimmel with a ' after it - like ג'ורא would say Jora (slang for sewage in mdern hebrew)in real Hebrew I think a gimmel with a dot in it (dagesh) is the J sound
For those of us who lack Hebrew Skills can someone translate?
it is a death announcement for Michael Jackson
Rafi - in real Hebrew I think a gimmel with a dot in it (dagesh) is the J soundAre you saying that the way the Temanim pronounce it is "real" Hebrew? :-)And why did they translate Jackson as Jacobson?Mark
Mark - 1. yes2. don't know. was wondering that too. figured it was a mistake. maybe they wanted to make the name sound more jewish to fit the notice
