The Third Reich and Hitler have defeated YouTube

After he served as a mouthpiece for every possible grievance and complaint, Hitler is now leaving YouTube, and ranting about it.

The German film Der Untergang (Downfall), in which Adolf Hitler is seen going off on a tirade against betrayal, has lent itself to hundreds of online parodies where Hitler expresses severe anger over anything from parking spaces to the iPad.

However the company that made the 2004 movie, Constantin Films, has set out to put a stop to the countless parodies and have demanded that YouTube remove the films, citing copyright infringement.
Oh well. I hated that clip, in all its variations, anyway. I thought they were all stupid.

  1. I think it is worth noting, by the way, that the director of the film thinks the Youtube clips are hilarious and felt that they were an honor to the film itself.
The person/people who are lawyering up in this case is the studio which put the film out.
