On that note I would ask that if the attack on the flotilla, a hostile and provocative boat filled with pro-terrorist activists armed with crude weapons, is a sign of weakness, what is attacking tens of thousands unarmed students that are protesting for election reform? How is beating and killing unarmed students a sign fo anything but weakness and evil?In an interview with the Beirut-based LBC TV Network last night, he added that since the Zionist entity was planted on Palestinian soil for wars and tension, it is exactly doing things for which it was created.
The Iranian President pointed out that: "for many years Israel has boasting of its invincibility, but the myth of its awe has been shattered and now there is no other excuse for its illegal existence."
He went on to add that in any future war there is no chance whatsoever of Israel's victory.
Dr. Ahmadinejad reiterated that the barbaric attack of Zionist forces on the Freedom Flotilla is not a sign of Israel's strength and in fact goes to show Israel's weakness.
It is highly hypocritical of Iran, considering its own recent past. Based on what Iran says should happen to Israel, Iran should be in a far worse situation. No matter how bad you consider the flotilla situation, what Iran did to the protesting students was immeasurably worse.
i believe that the last person who spoke about israel's weakness was the great sheikh nassrallah (i had not idea they would resond that way)
ReplyDeleteI'm concerned - I've been away on business for a couple of weeks and the second I had a spare moment on my return I wanted to see what comment our "frum" community is posting about the Flotilla I am saddened to see that they are more concerned about who controls the mikve in RBS than the terrorism and attempted murder at sea; not to mention the hatred against Israel. Where is all the support people? I expected comments almost as long as other "pressing" issues.
ReplyDeleteI should point out that those who seek to harm the Jews come to a bad end. Its lost on Ahmedinejad those who tried to murder Jews got their answer. And if his country tries to do the same thing to Israel, it will not find the results very pleasant indeed.
ReplyDeletehypocritical - even the news itself is pointing out the relative irony. there was that interview with poli sci prof finkelstein or something like that, where he's going on about Israel being a lunatic country, and meanwhile headlines about UN discussions of the north korean sinking of a ship play at the bottom of the screen. and the shooting spree with 12 dead 35 injured between 3 towns in England.
ReplyDelete"what Iran did to the protesting students was immeasurably worse."
ReplyDeleteThat's not true.
I may not always agree with Ahmadinejad, but I do agree with his conclusion: the attack was not a sign of Israel's strength and in fact goes to show Israel's weakness.
