Investigative Report Into Cult Of Veil Wearers And Burqas (video)

The investigative Reporting tv show, 360, went in and looked at the "kat hashalim" - the cult of women who wear veils and burqas. The show follows Mrs. Beniziri (sister in law of former minister Shlomo Benizri) who leads a group of veil wearers (they mostly dont cover faces). She comes off more than a bit ridiculous and seems obsessed with having 7 children become kohanim gedolim.

At the end they give a teaser of their talking with Bruria Keren, the head of the burqa women who is sitting in jail for abusing her children. If Benizri came off as ridiculous, Keren is a total loon.

  1. one thing I do not understand, a woman is allowed to drive according to these sick women which real rabonim have assured but to take on the levush of the goyim is ok?

  2. I like how they keep describing the group as Taliban.

  3. Fantastic undercover report, except for the continual use of the word "Taliban". This "name calling" is typical of the bias and the lack of professionalism prevalent in the Israeli MSM. The reporter could have avoided blessing Shechechiyanu in vain by wearing a new piece of clothing that she was really happy about wearing. A good scoop does not justify making a "brachah levatalah.
