Lubavitch Rebbe declares he is not Moshiach
1. interesting video. I dont know why ti came otu now, if it was never seen before or whatnot. The meeting is interesting.
2. the rebbe was concerned about Mashiach coming, but not in a general sense. he implored Netanyahu to do what he could to bring Mashiach. When Netanyahu responded that he is doing, the rebbe tells him that mashiach has not yet come today and more must be done, as we can still bring him today!
3. I think any Meshichist Lubavitcher might not make the same implication from what the rebbe said to what the title of the video is. they could easily explain that he was/is the mashiach, but had not yet revealed himself and it is that to which he was referring when he said Mashiach has not yet come.
No he doesn't, he just says he hasn't come yet. This leaves open three options:
ReplyDelete1. He isn't Mashiah and he knows that.
2. He hasn't discovered yet that he is Mashiah and that Mashiah is in fact already there.
3. That he knows that he is Mashiah but the time isn't right yet for him to reveal this ("come" = "reveal").
Personally I'll go for option 1. Everyone to their own interpretation.
I agree with Rafi (S).
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, he DOES NOT say that he is not Moshiach.
He merely says he hasn't yet "come" (been revealed)
Actually as Baba Sali and others have predicted Moshiach has already arrived this year. Each person needs to recognize Moshiach for himself. This may not be that easy, since he will appear as an ordinary man, still incognito, until most people acknowledge him. The way to recognize him is thru his words or the message that he brings - the message of peace, brotherhood and justice. See http://www.moshiachishere.org/
