Rebbe Accuses Zionists of Murder To Create the State (video)

There is no end to the stupidity, and the ability to generate stupid headlines.

A yeshiva went on a tiyul, and along the tiyul they came across an army memorial site. At the site, as you will see in the video below from Channel 10 News, the rebbe told the boys that the Zionists were evil, like the Nazis. He said they helped the Nazis, they helped kill Jews, because by doing so they knew sympathy would be generated that would effect the creation of a new state. The rebbe also said that they murdered and now they want us to stand silently at their siren? We don't stand at their siren.

Eventually one of the escorts accompanying the group challenged the rebbe. One of the things asked was how could he say such a thing while taking a salary from the Ministry of Education. The rebbe's response was that they cannot tell me what to say, I am teaching the young generation the truth.

1. There is no end to the stupidity and the ability to generate sensational headlines
2. The guy is an idiot.
3. What does what some Zionists did or did not do during the holocaust have to do with soldiers who died 5, 10, 20 60 years later protecting the Jewish people?
3. Granted, there were all sorts of people who did all sorts of bad things in the time of the holocaust. and after. and still.
4. I agree with him that he can say whatever he wants, whatever he thinks is true. And nobody can tell him otherwise, even if they are paying him a salary. He owns his own mouth. That being said, they could relieve him of his duties if they don't agree with his extreme accusations.
5. So, what's the reason "we" don't stand at the sirens?
is it a) that is not a "Jewish" style of a memorial
       b) chukos hagoyim
       c) waste of time, bittul torah
        d) they killed good jews and now they want us to memorialize them

  1. I'm surprised you're surprised.

Nothing unusual here, other than that it was video recorded and wound up in public view.

  2. The so called 'Rabbi' Sokolover is a Hassidic guy, so it seems from his appearance. Even though he mentions the Chazon Ish.

His name is Sokolover, the root of that name is from the diaspora (sounds like Poland) within just the last two hundred years, so his ancestors were not living in Eretz Yisroel for the last thousand years.

Obviously, his knowledge of facts is severely lacking, if he says such things about the Nasi Artzos Habris.

If he has such Neturei Karta type views, why is he taking a salary from the medinah? Is that not hypocrisy? Let him move to Meah Shearim and live with his fellow lunatics there.

  3. To background:
Because his views are not Neturei Karta nor chassidish, not that I agree with them.
