NYPD KEEPS THE PEACE AS FLATBUSH PROTEST GETS ROWDY

this guy in the video has so far refused to give his wife a get...

  1. Actually it's Aharon Friedman that is refusing his ex-wife the get, not the guy in the video. Ppl are making protests in front of his relative's/supporter's homes.

  2. One of the other individuals in the video, a guy with a red beard visable at about 5:52, is also refusing his wife a Get. Not sure what his connection is to this case is, but perhaps it's a case of birds of a feather.

  4. I think this is great and should get play in the media as all these men are fighting for the woman to get her get.

they should also do this outside every molester and the Rabbis who hide them homes.

  5. Aharon Friedman is not a "get refuser" Nor are any of the poeple featured in the video. Women who kidnap their children and attempt to make their children orphans with living fathers are self centered and abusive to their children. This group also protested in another case where the mother kidnaped 3 of the couple's 4 children and disapeared to Israel for over 10 years. Now her mother surfaced and is demanding a Get for her daughter and this group of goons from YU is helping the woman by making protests outside the husband's store and placing the husband's name up on their website as a target. If the woman comes back to the US, she will be arrested for kidnapping. She is a criminal wanted by authorities but yet ORA is supporting her instead of trying to do the right thing and reunite the father and remaining child with the other children. Our society has become conditioned to think the "Get" is the most important issue in a divorce. Think about it, women who kidnap their children and cut off the relationship between father and children are abusing the system and their Get is secondary to the welfare of their children.

  6. Notice how none of the protesters knew any pertinant fact or details about the actual case but were willing based on total heresay to get up and make a public Chillul Hashem demonstrating in front of a shul and the home of a Rabbi in the community just becuase he is the man's uncle. Perhaps if we look into the geneology of Jeremy Stern and Aharon Friedman, we will learn that they are actually distant cousins. Does that mean that next time Jeremy will lead a protest against himself????

  7. Aharon Friedman was issued a ktav siruv, so yes, he is DEFINITELY a get refuser. Using a get as leverage for years after a civil divorce was issued to get more visitation rights is WRONG!!!! Aharon Friedman is causing the chilul Hashem, not those who are using any form of pressure necessary to get him to do what is right. Any family member (assuming anon is one of them) who supports him deserves to have protests outside their home as well. Tamar is entitled to move on with her life. Aharon Friedman is not allowing her to do so. If he cared so much about seeing his daughter, he would move closer to her. Aharon is being the selfish one here. Tamar is not obligated to live the rest of her life in Washington just so her ex can keep his job. Moving back near her family is totally warranted. He is making the choice of his career over his daughter, and now is withholding a get so he can his daughter too.

  8. Are you telling me that the mother is allowed to illegaly kidnap the daughter, move out of state, and when the father asks to see his daughter, You tell HIM to move near his daughter?! If he would have stayed in court and not gone to bais din, he would have probably forced her to move back. Why should he lose out, for doing the right thing? She is the one who refused to cooperate with the only bais din that heard both sides!

  9. When you read the above comment saying Aharon should give up his job and move to Philadelphia- we see how totally irrational these "Get protest" people are. What Tamar did was unilaterally move with her child out of state. She did not listen to Bais Din and er actions demonstrate, she could care less about the law. Tamar is very selfish and she is not doing what is right for her dauhter to grow up with maximal time with both parents. Aharon must be a very devoted father to continue in this fight to have a relationship with his daughter. It would be so uch easier for him to give up and move on with his lfe and have other children By the way, I'm sure she wants Aharon to continue to pay child support too. Her merry band of protesters tried to get him fired from his job- exactly how is that in her child's intrests or even her own intrests.

  10. There is no Seruv- there is a bogus paper signed by a bunch of thugs who don't even sit on a Bais Din together. Ralbag from Triangle K!!!! Most likely paid off!!!! Hebrew National Franks anyone??? R' Shmuel Kamenetsky- 1) Rumor has it becoming senile 2)He is friends with Tamar'sfamily who support his yeshiva financially. Gavriel Stern from Bais Din of America???? How did they get into this picture? Who gae them any kind of jurisdiction That goes double for Walmark? Wasn't he recently accused of pedophillia? These folks just drew this up and signed it. Procedurally wrong and so totally currupt. Aharon all along listened to the Baltimore Bais Din while Tamar did not comply. The Baltimore Bais Din had jurisdiction over this case and they did not order a Get in this matter.

  11. So nice to see people brave enough to put their names and reputations behind their statements.

I, for one, am totally convinced by a bunch of anonymous users. Way more credible than recognized Rabbonim.

  13. I'm sure there's two sides to this story, but any sympathy that I may have had for the ex-husband's situation has been completely demolished by his behavior. Withholding a get after a divorce FOR ANY REASON is vile and despicable. If he has a problem with his visitation rights, take it up with the civil court that made the ruling.

  14. Anonymous is quicker and easier than setting up an account with google. Also, even though Rebbitzin Tzip feels differently, Most of our gedolim will tell you that you should withhold a get until she is willing to be reasonable. Most judges are feminist as anyone who has been through the system can tell you. Ultimately, it is the children that should be the biggest concern in a divorce not the get. On the contrary, if withholding the get brings the mother to her senses, then by all means, to it!

  15. Mikeage- I agree with the other poster,it is much easier to post anonymous than through google. It is nice that you are open and not afraid to represent yourself, however, if you research this case in depth, which I have, you would be shocked at the curruption and bogus way these Rabbonim drew up what they are calling a Seruv. I know this may be disheartening for those of us who want to still believe in Daas Torah but unfortunately, it is true that these Rabbonim have their own personal agendas , financial, political and other for signing that paper. Isn't it intersteing that the Baltimore Bais Din, a recognized Bais Din, which was the ONLY Bais Din the couple attended did not issue a Seruv on Aharon or order him to give a get. These issues concern real people's lives. This is not about a photo op. 15 years or so from now, we'll see the impact of all of this media circus on the poor little girl who is at the center of the issue. The get is only one outstanding issue- but the issues concerning the father's ability to have a relationship with his daughter so that she can grow up with her father as an active particpant in her life. This should not ha
ve to go to court- the coupe should either go back to the Baltimore Bais Din to resolve the outstanding matters or sit down like a mentch and work out their differences. Standing in the street and screaming and trying to bully relatives only rachets up the annimosity and makes things that much more difficult to resolve.

  16. Anonymous - I completely agree and support everything you have written. Its hard to understand why people will just jump on the bandwagon to support someone (and destroy another) without ever having looked objectively at ALL the facts.
