Chayav Inish L'V'Sumei (video)

Chayav Inish L'V'Sumei

Chayav Inish is as classic a Purim song as any other... or is it?

look after the video for updated information

update: a fellow named Rabbi Einhorn contacted the band to ask about the similarity between their song and the Jewish version. The band leader's name is Mariur Dargomir and he calls him "Romania's Bruce Springsteen". Mariur seemed to say that both he and the Jewish version are both "truth", they are a shared version - they both equally stumbled upon the music. According to that, neither one copied from the other.

  5. The solution is to get really good Jewish composers (there have been many, both religious and secular) to write really good original music for our chagim so we don't feel some need to smuggle in alien jingles under the cover of darkness.
