The Purim Pashkevil

The Purim pashkevil banning the singing of the popular "Mee She'Nichnas Adar" song due to its non-Jewish origins has now been updated to include the "Chayav Inish" song into the ban after the recent discovery that it to has non-Jewish origins.

  2. What about the nigunim that were created from non-Jewish sources and became famous Chassidishe nigunim?
    Isn't that elevating the sparks?
