This year, President Obama celebrated his Passover seder on the night of Passover, unlike last year when he celebrated two weeks early. People say he is Muslim and not American, but I say he is Israeli. Besides for the time during his original presidential election campaign when he told a Jewish audience his
nickname was Baruch, he seems to have celebrated Passover with only one seder..

does he eat kitniyot?
ReplyDeleteI am sure he also holds by Ben Gurion of Yom Ha Atzmaut.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't say Hallel. Doesn't say Tachnun.
It doesn't look much like the *night* of Passover to me (look through the window at the back)
ReplyDeleteIf Obama does eat kitniyot on Pesach it is hard to imagine that it could be due to the influence of Machon Shilo or Rabbi David Bar-Hayim. I don't think Obama would like Rabbi Bar-Hayim's politics.
