Rabbi Wolpe has been rated as the top Rabbi in America, and also in the list of top 50 most influential Jews. Personally, I thought Rabbi Soloveitchik's invocation at the RNC was more powerful than Rabbi Wolpe's, but I like Rabbi Wolpe's as well.
