At this very moment Israel is renewing the power of deterrence to what it was. We are in the process of targeted attacks against their infrastructure and against Hamas leaders. The goal is to bring back the deterrence. Most of the long-range missiles have been destroyed, but not all of them. People should remain alert.... The Israeli home front is strong, and we won't allow Hamas to break it. ..

    Deterrence will only be renewed if the IDF is allowed to stick with it. If instead we continue - as "usual" - to let our citizens take it on the chin day in and day out, and only once every couple of years give a burst of retaliation, it doesn't do anything for deterrence.
