Let's look at the Haredim.. I remember bringing the first Nahal Haredi unit in 1999. It was an historic event, and in 2007 the brigade had 300 soldiers. Gentlemen, this past year there were 1500 soldiers drafted to it, without us declaring war on them, without sending them to jail.
Whoever wants this sector to be drafted - there is a natural process taking place that I am following and assisting. I know the people involved, it is a natural process that even the rabbonim understand that this is the way it is. They are even happy about it, that whoever does not want to learn will go to work and whoever does not want to learn will go serve...
Whoever thinks that by an onslaught on them we will threaten them and let them know that whoever is this, and yes this happened with Plesner and is almost happening now with Yesh Atid, will go straight to jail, I do not want to live in a Jewish country where I take Yeshiva students from learning torah to jail.
