Chief Rabbi race is coming to an end

The big news of the day is the voting for the Chief Rabbis going on right now. By 8 PM official results will be announced and we will have our 2 new Chief Rabbis.

Interestingly, Haredi websites are talking about the slight lead held by Rav Lau, while Dati websites are talking about the slight lead held by Rav Stav... Everybody sees what they want to see. Someone is going to be disappointed.

Whoever wins, I will be happy the embarrassment of the campaigning and voting process for chief rabbis is over, and I hope that whoever wins will be decent and respectful, and bring honor and respect to the rabbinate and to the people.
