  3. It's the next step before virtual chickens. There was a time when I reverted back to the "old ways," using chickens and roosters for caparot. I felt 'frummer,' somehow. I'm older and wiser now: I believe that giving tzedakah for kaparot is the more efficient, humane way (-and less messy, to boot).
