Seems nice, but this kind of rolling can also be done by standing the sefer up in the aron or on a table. The disadvantage of this rolling is that the scroll is not tight and this causes it to be fatter than might be possible. This is a problem in the sepharadi scrolls we have. When we use them for Simchat Torah, we actually remove the scroll from the container to roll like Ashkenazi because it's easier.
