"we don't worry about the afterlife; what's coming. what's not coming." Really? True -- "The life we live in this world is the most important"--- specifically because it our gateway eternity... I realize her overall intent here but question her way of communicating, and perhaps her approach or philosiphy regarding a Jew's relating to the Great-Hereafter...
Not to be that guy, but could it be that most Jews today aren't that motivated when it comes to Judaism. True, we may not kill each other en masse TODAY. But what about the past? What about the warring factions of the 2nd Temple period?
