The new entrance for Jews would be via Cotton Gate.
That is great news, but I cannot see it happening. The Palestinians, and the Waqf on the Mount would not allow it, and Jordan would protest any changes to the current situation.
If it should happen it would surely cause the conflagration of a new intifada or some sort of uprising. Think back to when Netanyahu opened a gate out of the tunnels into the market, or when Sharon went onto Har Habayit. And it would not be a real uprising out of shock and anger, but a planned one, because thats what they do and then they look for excuses.
I mean, they couldnt even fix and/or replace the rickety bridge on the Israeli side leading up to the existing entrance without Jordan protesting and canceling the project.
My prediction: not gonna happen.
