regardless of what I think of Yesh Atid, kudos to my friend MK Dov Lipman on winning the title of "Champion Legislator" for his work in the Knesset in which he voted on the most bills of any MK... 1700.
He calls is a "moment of unity", as if the Knesset Speaker giving out the "Best Attendance" award to someone from another party really signifies anything. Talk about making a mountain out of a molehill.
people throw the word "unity" around like a rag doll nowadays. anytime two people talk to each other they call it unity. it has basically become a meaningless word

ReplyDeleteI used the wrong word. it should say "voted on".
ReplyDeleteWhat's the big deal - that he actually did what he was elected to do?
ReplyDeleteconsidering how poorly many other MKs do in this regard, it seems to be a big enough deal that it deserves an award!

DeleteOf all people to have participated in "the most votes."
ReplyDeleteBetter that he had stayed home, and, shall we say, brushed up on halakha.... And, that's being kind.
An award presented by Edelstein?? Aw, gee, another one of the "stars."
:-/
so much for unity
Delete1700 bills? Since the last election?
ReplyDeleteIt needs to be much, much harder to pass legislation.
Good point. Regulation, regulation, regulation...
DeleteIt's as if everyone helps each other to get their artificially produced few minutes in the limelight.
