Shas's latest campaign, going up on signs all over the country, is an image of Rav Ovadia peering from above, saying that Abba is watching from above....
There is plenty to criticize about this campaign, but that's not what I want to do.
This specific sign made me laugh:
the sign is placed on a porch above an "adult entertainment" shop.. and it has Rav Ovadia watching from above...
I wonder if this caused any potential customers to walk away instead of entering the store...

in a way, makes sense to have the poster above such a disreputable place, maybe those who see it will get a pinch of guilt and not enter. As it says, there is an Eye who sees everything and only when some are reminded, (here by the leading Rav, ztl) does it hit them and make them think twice and deter them from entering.
