Picture of the Day





These are pictures from the funeral of a 93 year old Holocaust survivor who had lived in NY. She died and was to be buried in the Eretz Hachaim cemetery outside of Bet Shemesh, with no friends or relatives in Israel. The call went out on a number of Bet Shemesh groups asking people if possible to go to the funeral.. looks like a lot of people went out to participate in the funeral of this Holocaust survivor, despite not knowing her, in the hot sun, and escorted her to her final resting place..
