Deri voted against a law he wanted

I get that Aryeh Deri and Shas voted against a certain law because it was submitted by Opposition MKs rather than by himself  or by other Coalition MKs,..

Still, it is funny that he campaigned on the "Maam 0" law proposal and insisted he would force it through, yet when it was proposed and voted on today Deri voted against it.
