Illegal weddings.. circumventing the Rabbanut (video)

I know a couple of these rabbis... this is another example in what I mentioned the other day, of the Dati Leumi and chiloni, the natural "customers" of the Rabbanut, having lost confidence in the Rabbanut and looking to its demise, while the Haredi establishment works to protect it.

And, perhaps this is the next stage in the downfall of the Rabbanut, unless the Rabbanut finds a way to adapt. They've been attacked on kashrut, and now on lifecycle events... I do not think it has reached the tipping point yet, but it seems to me it might be close...
