who knows 10? I know 9!

in the lead-up to the new program of paid parking around Bet Shemesh, the Iryah is going on a media blitz announcing the program and promoting it. They are putting ads in all the papers making sure people know that soon parking in many areas around town will be paid, along with promos of why it is so good and beneficial to the residents.

The ad below has a little snafu...

It is titled "10 Things you should know about parking, and parking lots, and everything in between"..

yet in the body of the ad there are only 9 bullet points.

Oops.

    Sadly, this isn't at all surprising.
    The paid parking idea is just plain dumb.
    Replacing a small inconvenience with a really big one.
    And treating the public like morons. An example, in that ad it says this idea will save (!?) people money because 4 shekel per hour is less than the cost of liter of gas which they claim people use up searching for a space. My car gets at least 10km to the liter, most of the time it isn't hard at all to find a parking space, and even when it is, no one drives around 10km to find a spot. Only an idiot could say that.

    A friend in RBSA tells me that the iriah is slowly but steadily closing down activities that appeal to DL families, and is firing (or "excessing") DL iriah employees in favor of Chareidi ones.

    Is this true? If so, is any form of resistance successful? Or is RBSA doomed as a mixed community?
