there isn't any greater than our nation...
the story:
I was standing near the bus stop in jerusalem.
As you know, because of the situation, the army has distributed pairs of soldiers to bus stops around the city. They stand ready for action in the rain and cold.
The bus arrived and a woman approached with her baby and stroller. The driver opened the undercarriage.
The soldiers saw the woman struggling to fold the stroller and out it in and they approached her saying, maam, take the baby and get on the bus, while we deal with folding the stroller and putting it in the undercarriage. and that is what happened.
The soldier struggled a bit with folding the stroller. After all, he doesn't have much experience in this..
someone passing by spontaneously put down his bags and said to the soldier that he would help.
and that is how a beautiful moment was created of a citizen and a soldier folding a stroller and putting it in the undercarriage while the mother sat above in the bus with her baby and a smile on her face.
Jerusalem, the people of Israel
It is freezing her, it is warm inside.
it takes such seemingly small, minor, things, mundane acts, to make us happy and to inspire us...
