if a Jew is going to be eating chametz on pesach - is it worse to not sell the chametz and continue owning it on pesach or is it worse to sell the chametz and then steal it from the gentile when taking it to eat?
Is there value in going through the mechira even though one is going to be eating chametz, perhaps for the sake of "tradition" and keeping a connection to customs or is it pointless if one is going to be eating chametz anyways?
What say you, dear reader?

Sell for many reasons:
ReplyDelete1) Hirhurei Teshuva can come at any time.
2) We don't advise someone to be עובר on something in order not to עובר on something else - especially an עבריין.
3) Who says he's going to eat the חמץ that he is selling? Maybe he'll buy new חמץ.
