A list of takanos was announced, and bachurim not adhering to the takanos will be tossed from their yeshivas. The takanos include not having even a kosher phone. As well they are not allowed to sit on the bus adjacent to someone with a non-kosher phone.
This will leave more room for us. I'll have to make sure to keep my phone out of my pocket while on the bus so affected bachurim will know about it and not sit next to me. I am not sure who they think they are punishing by forcing these kids to stand (if no other seats are available besides for next to people with non-kosher phones).
Maybe they should devise new mehadrin bus arrangements with four sections - a section for men, another for women and then 2 more for men and women with smartphones.

maybe these kooks should just move to the desert in Arizona or the tundra of Alaska where they can live in peace and solitude and learn without any distractions--hope their cult leaders will tell the children and adults not to take buses at all--then our children will be safe from 418 perverts.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't standing over Smartphone users provide an even better view -- and allow the bochurim the freedom to hover over whoever's smartphone content looks the most interesting?
ReplyDeleteI never thought they could make the Mehadrin bus lines at all attractive...
ReplyDeleteAny haredi not wearing deodorant will be greeted from now on with my smartphone!
ReplyDeleteWhy aren't busess 'banned? a yeshivah bachur student should be forbidden from going on busses. Aeter all, the RY doesn't go.
ReplyDeleteMothers, sisters, aunts should be driving them around.
Oh wait. I forgot. Women are not allowed to drive.
