Party platforms are meaningless and non-binding. The president sets foreign policy. Trump has far less to do with the current Republican platform than any candidate of either major party in recent history.
ReplyDeleteActually, trump is being very influential on the platform. Its his opportunity to state his positions on the issues he wants to promote, in a venue he won't bje subject to press misquoting .
ReplyDeleteAs opposed to crooked hillary, who gave over the platform to the anti semites (and bernie) who are passing anti israel planks, revealing the true nature of the democratic party, which if hillary doesn't formally support, she must please them in the (chas veShalom) event she gets into office.
ReplyDeleteYou are living in the fantasy world of right-wing conspiracy theories. The platform suggestions that can be regarded as anti-Israel were rejected.
DeleteOnly one plank was rejected.
DeleteFrankly, I'm taking both candidates with a grain of salt. I cannot fully support either of them.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I am more confident in the Republican platform than in the Democratic one. I only hope that this will become the administration policy no matter who wins in November.
