How is this for a story? My wife served as a religious girl in the army, remained religious. Her sister did Sherut Leumi and is now not religious, although keeping kashrut.
ReplyDeletethat reminds me of the concept that is not uncommon - people living as religious residents of largely non-religious neighborhoods often have children who grow up stronger in religion than those living in religious neighborhoods...
