Noni and Bibi sitting in a tree...

if what is being reported as on these recordings of conversations between Noni Moses and Bibi Netanyahu is accurate, then it means that the history as we know it of the Yisrael Hayom Law makes no sense.

First of all, it shows that it really was an attempt to squash freedom of speech, but not from the left wing against Netanyahu, but from Netanyahu himself in order to better set himself up for the future.

Second, Netanyahu seemed to have fought the law proposal, and lost, but perhaps he actually won and was only fighting it for appearances sake.

Third, why would Netanyahu turn on his benefactor Sheldon Adelson and his paper Yisrael Hayom, that has always been in Netanyahu's corner, and go make a deal with his avowed enemy? He thought Moses could get him further? That is really dirty. et tu Brute? et tu Bibi? Stabbing Adelson n the back for personal gain? Now that it has all blown up in his face, even if he does not get indicted for anything, will Bibi have lost Adelson?

Fourth, I have this nagging feeling that Moses was doing this all along just to set Netanyahu up for  a fall. They were at odds for so long, for Moses to suddenly turn and try to pander to Netanyahu and make deals with him, and for Netanyahu to be tempted by it... it seems off..
