Besides for being a nice gesture to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem, I am not sure what else it does or what it can do. Does this make that law, and the pressure to act on it, stronger? Is it nothing but a nice gesture?

Empty political gesture.
ReplyDeleteI think it still expresses the sentiment that the embassy should be in Jerusalem. This issue will not go away whether or not the State Department wants it to.
