Steve Goodman is a Chicago icon, with his song Go Cubs Go, among many other songs.. one of those other songs is City of New Orleans, that has been covered by all the greats...



Little did I know, a similar song in many other countries is based on this song - in Israel the Eretz Nehederet song is converted from the City of New Orleans song.. I had no idea (thank you Jewish Humor Central for the background)..
