the top picture is the Tiberias coastline, one year ago - January 2019
the bottom picture is the same Tiberias coastline today - January 2020
an amazing difference from just a few weeks of rain...though I do feel a little bad for all the people/businesses/city that invested money in building a boardwalk and structures and sites that are now destroyed and under water...

None of the boardwalk or infrastructure in the pictures is underwater.
ReplyDeletesur eit is. look bottom left by the ramp you'll see much of it underwater, along with everything along it. now follow it up near the top and much of that is also under water
ReplyDeleteWhatever ...the point is the bracha!! There is a nevua that when the kinneret is full Moshiach arrives. IyH...
ReplyDeleteWhere is that Nevua? I'm familiar with one about Yam Hamelach.
DeleteAlso, the Kinneret has been full, and not that long ago.
I think that the same view in March 2019 looked a lot more like the second picture than the first. Remember that last winter was pretty wet, but mainly in the second half of it. Also, the official prediction for this winter was that the second half would be relatively dry, so these pictures effectively show the effects of two winters' worth of rain. (Still a pretty amazing comparison.)
