In China the death toll and the infected toll continue to rise at a rapid pace. If you don't trust the Chinese government to release true numbers, as I don't, it might have disaster potential, if it isn't already a disaster.
The Eida Hachareidis has called for a prayer rally against the globally spreading virus. They set the day for Erev Rosh Chodesh Adar and called upon people everywhere and anywhere they might live to daven on that day to remove all illness and to do teshuva.

I am impressed that the Eida has called for a prayer rally even though the virus has not yet hit Israel or other Jewish communities. Good for them.
