And lo and behold the news is reporting that one of those patients discovered upon landing that she has Corona Virus. She had taken a test before boarding and only got the results after landing.
The Statue of Liberty greets immigrants to the United States with the phrase from Emma Lazarus "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free..."
It now looks like they are sending those who wish to breathe free (from Corona) to Israel.... or maybe Israel should post the New Colossus at the entrance to Ben Gurion to greet immigrants appropriately...

Actually, from what I read, she was NOT contagious, being antibody-positive. Testing COVID positive at that point is likely due to viral fragments, not active virus.
