On his Facebook page he has posted a couple of video statuses updating the public as to his condition. He doesn't look too bad, but I really dont know what his status is.
is this divine intervention due to the stance he took against letting in the Breslav pilgrims for Rosh Hashana out of concerns of an outbreak?
I don't know. But I do know he was such a minor player in that ordeal that it seems unlikely to me that of all the people "deserving" revenge for that "antisemitic" ordeal the most minor of the players would be the one to get it. It was not in Tsebriy's hands to make the decision. It was mor eint he hands of the Prime Minister of Ukraine, The Interior Minister and maybe the Health Minister of Ukraine, along with the Prime Minister of Israel and the Corona Czar of Israel. Some combination of all these people were behind the decision to not let the Breslavers in. The Mayor of Uman just let his thoughts out of his head, but he likely had very little actual say int he matter.
