All those nonsensical restrictions I posted about yesterday that had been decided upon and were just waiting to be passed by the government have now been voided. The government could not agree on the list of restrictions, so PM Netanyahu and HM Edelstein decided to abandon the idea and just wait until the numbers get too high (I think 2500 new infections per day) and then make some sort of full lockdown.
But for now, nothing.
For now, the government will leave us to our own devices. If we want to be responsible and try not to increase the spread, that is up to us, and if we want to throw big parties and Chanukah events and spread the virus, that is on us. Maybe as it should be. The government can't fix stupid, especially when the government itself is dysfunctional.
