if a unity government is coming, this is what I want

Nobody knows if this unity government will successfully be formed between the right, center and left parties (Yamina, Tikva, Yisrael Beyeteynu, Yesh Atid, Labor, Meretz and one of the Arab parties). Netanyahu was not able to form a coalition, and I am sure they will not find it so easy either.

I would hope for at least this from them though, if they do successfully overcome the challenges and form a government...

First, I would like them to cut down the size of the government. I don't know if a maximum of 18 ministers, as Lapid used to talk about, is realistic with so many parties in the mix, but maybe that can be the eventual goal with a current maximum of 22 or 24 ministers. We don't need a bloated government again, with overlapping ministries and unclear responsibility.

Second, I would like them to pass term limits for Prime Minister. I would not mind it for MKs and Ministers in general (though the limits might be different), but the role of PM needs to have this. This has been promised for decades already, but every PM has avoided actually passing it.
