It was just revealed that right before the holiday hackers waged a cyber attack against various Israeli sites and systems. One of those they successfully attacked was the network of the Postal Services Authority.
The Postal Authority announced that some services have been disrupted as a result of the attack and temporarily the system for making appointments in the post office branches is unavailable, as are several other services they provide.
It seems nobody could tell that the postal system had been attacked and affected. Their downtime doesnt seem that different from normal operations... :-)

Reminds me of an old Dry Bones cartoon where two postal workers are talking and one says "If the government doesn't give us what we want, we should stage a work slowdown!" And his friend replies "Yes, but no one would notice."
