That is a shot of a mounted policeman hitting a young lady at the hafgana last night in Tel Aviv.
It looks like this was captured as a "still" from one of the many videos of the incident found on the Internet. It is not perfectly clear and is hard to see the nightstick he hits her with.
And, we don't know why, what she did, if anything. Minister Ben Gvir says he is going to investigate and demand answers.
For a few months now Ben Gvur has been screaming about equality in police violence saying the police treat the leftist protests with silk gloves yet when there are right wing or Haredi protests they get violent very quickly. Well, he got his wish. The police have gotten to their violent ways with the leftists as well, as in recent weeks we have seen an escalation of police violence at these protests (whether "justified" or not, I dont know).. So instead of Ben Gvr working to cut down on police violence, he has extended it.

Police are violent, everywhere in the world. This is the only kind of equalizing which could possibly have happened.
