-- Justice Minister Yariv Levin
what does he expect these judges to do? Does he think judges will prevent Israeli citizens from buying homes just because they are Arabs? is he crazy? what does the identity and political outlook of any given justice have to do with Israeli citizens buying real estate in any given town?

You are disconnected from reality, if an Israeli citizen happens to be a Jew, he can't buy real estate in any given town or neighborhood
ReplyDeleteYou mean like Kiryat sefer or other Haredi Towns, or secular kibbutz with an acceptance committee? I am a Jew but not the right type of Jew, so would not be allowed to purchase a property in these places.
DeleteThe problem with many on the Right who want judicial reform is not that they want non-activist judges; they want activist judges who will rule for *their side*. They don't realize those don't exist, and don't realize that judicial activism is almost by definition a left-wing thing.
ReplyDeleteIt's similar sentiments that make Ben-Gvir fight against judicial and other abuse when it's applied to those on the Right but doesn't seem to want to eliminate them altogether.
Ah! Apparently this is opposed to special discounts given to Arabs.
ReplyDeleteYou are all mistaken in your assessment of the situation. It's EY and when the Yehudi has to leave instead of those who are sonim and want to kill you, it's beyond a shanda and charpa. Wake up.
