There is no satisfactory solution to the problem of the Court and its powers.
    Here's the issue:
    1) the old Secular Ashkenazi Socialist community (SAS) founded and built the country, defended it through all the wars and stamped its character on it. This is their country and everyone who's not an SAS might be welcome to live there but shouldn't make the mistake of thinking he has a say in how the country runs. That's just for the SAS community.
    2) that worked while they were the majority. Now they're the minority but still see the majority as welcome to live in Israel but without a right to have a say in how the country runs. The only way to do that is by having an unelected Supreme Court run by the SAS community that will overeride any changes the Knesset makes that they don't like.
    3) the new majority is composed of corrupt seculars, fanatic Kahanists and parastic Chareidim. Left unchecked they will destroy the country without breaking a single rule of democracy.
So how do you fix that?
