an ironic observation

A readers (thanks whats!) sent me the following irnoic observation by email:

Israel’s sixtieth birthday is next year. I have saved newspapers and magazines from the fiftieth celebration. In 1998, Netanyahu was Prime Minister and Peres was traveling the world scheming to foil government foreign policy. Ehud Barak was campaigning to be the next Prime Minister and Olmert was facing corruption charges. In 2008, Netanyahu may well be Prime Minister and if so, Peres will be undermining his foreign policy abroad. Ehud Barak will be running for Prime Minister and Olmert will be facing corruption charges.
