Haveil Havalim #149 - The "Vengeance upon the Nations" Edition

Haveil Havalim 149.

George Bush visits Israel for the first time since becoming president, despite his being declared a "great friend of Israel".
George Bush (and Condoleeza Rice) have been pressuring Israel to make tremendous concessions to the Palestinians by way of releasing terrorists, providing guns, ammo, armored vehicles, dividing Jerusalem, freezing settlement construction even from natural growth, destroying settlements, etc. All this despite George Bush being the "greatest friend" Israel ever had in the White House. All this despite the political points we scored by disengaging from Gaza and getting the world on our side, supposedly.

"מִשְׁפָּט כָּתוּב and in English, "To execute vengeance upon the nations, and chastisements upon the peoples, To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron, To execute upon them the judgment written"

Kudos once again to Soccer Dad for founding Haveil Havalim. This is the 149th week running of this blog carnival, and I am pretty sure Soccer Dad has a surprise or two up his sleeve for the future.. It takes a lot of work managing and maintaining Haveil Havalim and the jblog world owes Soccer Dad a big "THANK YOU" for carrying it on his shoulders all this time..so here is a shout out to Soccer Dad!
