The Hurva riots?

So why should the restoration of an ancient Jewish synagogue in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City be a provocation to cause rioting among the Palestinians?

  1. Because the Hurva has become the highest building in the Old City. It's taller than the mosques.

    It's spitting in their eye.

(I've got a photo of it I can send you, of the skyline from Talpiot showing it being higher.)

  2. The Arab word for "excuse" was mistranslated as "provocation".

  4. Because they hate Jews and they want Yerushalaim (and the rest of the country) to be Judenrein.
