Quote Of The Day

Quote Of The Day

Yasser was not a terrorist. A terrorist would have never won the Nobel Peace Prize. You know, there is a difference between a freedom fight and a terrorist. My husband was never a terrorist - he was a freedom fighter....
Of course he had a conscience. Yasser Arafat was the conscience - he was the [Nelson] Mandela of the Arab world. The Mandela of Palestine.

-- Suha Arafat, in an interview to CNN about her late husband, Yasser Arafat

  1. Gosh, that makes no sense. After all the Arabs considered Menachem Begin, z"l, a terrorist and he won a peace price.

  3. that's like saying "Yankie Feldman under 13 basketball player" is the Michael Jordan of his class. It doesn't tell us anything about Michael Jordan, or Yankie Feldman, it does tell us that the rest of his class are short, asthmatic stereotypes with no ball skills.

  6. Yasser Arafat was not a terrorist, and Donald is not a duck.
He just flies like a duck, and swims like a duck, and walks like a duck, and talks like a duck!

  7. This would have been a great premise for a Mel Brooks-Carl Reiner skit.
