Quote Of The Day

Quote Of The Day

We scare ourselves for no reason. The Arabs understand what the leftists do not. It is our right to pray on Temple Mount. .. We must actualize the saying "Har HaBayit is in our hands". Unfortunately, there are weak governments that do not understand the importance of Har HaBayit and the the place of the Mikdash. The Western Wall is just a side wall of Har HaBayit. This is the heart. This morning they asked me about the possibility of compromising on Temple Mount, and I said, one can give up on a hand or a foot, but it is impossible to give up on the head. Temple Mount is the head. Whomever forgets Temple Mount will end up forgetting everything.

-- MK Dr. Michael Ben-Ari, after he needed to invoke his parliamentary immunity to avoid being arrested after prostrating himself on Temple Mount and leading some public words of prayer.

  1. I presume you meant "parliamentary immunity."

  2. It's time that non-activists start going up there and praying, even secretly.

  3. It's almost impossible to do it 'secretly' because they watch your mouths and hands and if your body shuckles! How Ben Ari did it, Kol HaKavod to him. It's so nice to see so many Israelis speaking out (proudly in defense) about Yerushalayim. Of course, we aren't including Olmert.

  4. I prayed up there, when they told me that I was in a nice spot to take pictures. It's plenty easy to pray. Just don't make a big show of it.
