Quote of the Day

I have to admit, I was excited by the conversation with the soldiers from the Netzach Yehuda battalion. They epitomize the connection that we’re aiming for. We have a difficult mission, but this is doubtless a historic decision. Countless people and countless committees have debated this over the past 20 years – the time has come to make a decision. I am certain that we will need to get things going, and we will, gradually, while maintaining the value of Torah.

-- Minister of Science and Technology Yaakov Perry, as head of the Committee for Equality in the Burden of Service, after a meeting with haredi soldiers to hear the issues they have to deal with.

  1. It is beyond a doubt that this trendy party is merely a reincarnation of Tommy Lapid's Shinui, the party that is based on pro-secular Haredi-hate. Lapid attacking the Haredim twice this week, today Miki Levi calling the haredim leeches, and this quote of the day is full of arrogance and ignorance (Nahal Haredi is not really Haredi).

A friend from work shared Lapid's speech on FB and a few of his friends replied cheering along saying things like 'it's about time someone shoved it to them'. Lapid's party should be made illegal. Baruch Hashem I did not vote for Bennet who's alliance allowed Lapid to get into the government.
